Shipping information

In order for us to process your order and receive your skull in good fashion it is very important that you follow the steps below when you are preparing the skull prior to sending it to us.

Right after harvesting the animal

  • Detach the skull from the body and remove all the hair and skin from the skull. If you want
    hair and skin it can remain on.
  • Remove any attached vertebrae from the rear of the skull at the occipital condyle. (The Neck)
  • Place the skull in a plastic bag and freeze it solid which usually takes 3 or 4 days.

When shipping the skull

  • Place it in 2 or more Ziplocs or heavy duty trash bags.
  • Seal the package completely and wrap it in newspapers.
  • Tape rubber hose over any horn and antler ends you are sending.
  • Place the package in a strong box filled with newspapers or styrofoam for extra
    support and insulation.
  • Seal all 6 sides with packaging tape and mark as "fragile" on the outside of the box.

Shipping conditions

All shipments of hunted wildlife must have the proper documentation from province to province or territories tag numbers, habitat, etc. Please phone us for the other required forms and visit this link for more information from the Saskatchewan Government.

You can either use your preferred shipping company such as DHL or Fedex but STC, Bus Depot and Canada Post will also work.
Make sure you ship your package on a Monday to maintain its frozen state.

Always contact us before you ship your package so that we know it's coming.
